Any time you can. Seriously, make it easy on yourself.
If the "optimal times" conflict with your schedule to the point that it keeps you from posting altogether, don't sweat it. Just get it out there.
For me, I stay accountable by setting a personal rule: I don’t let myself go to sleep until I’ve posted for the day. Sometimes that means posting at midnight—a bit extreme, but it works for me.
That said, if you can work around the sacred posting times, consider this: consistently posting during your platform’s optimal hours can build momentum within the algorithm. Regularly showing up when your audience is most active creates a compounding effect, increasing visibility and engagement over time.
Based on data collected by Sprout Social, here's the optimal times for posting for the 2 essential platforms, Instagram & LinkedIn.
Instagram:
Mondays: 11 am–2 pm
Tuesdays: 10 am–4 pm
Wednesdays: 9 am–4 pm
Thursdays: 9 am–2 pm
Fridays: 10 am–12 pm
Days to avoid: Sundays
LinkedIn:
Tuesdays & Wednesdays: 10 am–12 pm
Thursdays: 10 am
Best days for Company Pages: Tuesday–Thursday
Days to avoid: Weekends
At Visionari Content, we know timing matters when it comes to maximizing engagement. That’s why we prioritize organic, real-time posting at your optimal times—no automated scheduling here. This helps ensure your content is not only seen but gains traction in a way that keeps you in front of your audience.
Remember, these windows may vary depending on your industry and audience demographics. The key is finding a balance that works for you and your goals. Consistency over perfection will always win in the long run. Just start, keep adjusting, and watch the momentum grow. 📈
